Are my images uploaded to a server?
Resize, crop, compress, passport photo, and background removal all run in your browser. Format conversion uses our server because browsers can't read every format like HEIC or TIFF. Those files are deleted from the server shortly after conversion.
Is it really free?
Yes. No signup, no credit card. There's no cap on how many images you can process.
What file formats are supported?
The in-browser editor works with JPG, PNG, and WebP. For HEIC, TIFF, BMP, GIF, SVG, AVIF, and other formats, the Convert Format tool handles it on the backend.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. Tested on iOS Safari and Chrome for Android. Large edits can be slower on older phones because the work happens on your phone.
Is there a file size limit?
Up to 100 MB per image. Large files take longer since your browser does the work.
Will the quality of my image drop?
Resize and crop keep the full quality. Compress lets you pick a quality level with a live size preview. Background removal and passport photo save as PNG or JPEG at 95% quality.
